We are located in Burton, Ohio and are searching for a full time Operations Manager.
This individual would be responsible for the oversight of multiple crews, ensuring quality standards, client relations and enforcing a strong safety culture through daily leadership, communication, and coaching of team members QUALIFIED CANDIDATES CAN EXPECT Excellent benefits including company paid Medical and Life Insurance, Dental, Vision, Disability, 401K Plan with matching contributions and PTO RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees multiple crews, to include the allocation of work, problem resolution, and technical support Oversees the production and completion of site work to ensure deadlines are met Focuses on ways to improve efficiencies, solve problems, and overcome barriers to ensure operational success Maintains a clean and safe work site including proper maintenance and care of all company equipment Manage snow activities to include on-site management as well as post-event responsibilities Sales to existing customers Approves and ensures the accuracy of employee time sheets for payroll processing Assists in the hiring of crew leaders and technicians Provides leadership through coaching, evaluating, conducting disciplinary action meetings, and conflict resolution of crew members Mentors the operations team members to improve employee competency and job satisfaction Demonstrates a positive role model for all employees by reinforcing best practices and culture Provides oversight in areas such as proper operation and training related to equipment and landscape Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices Position may perform other duties as assigned Requirements:
Minimum of 5
years landscape industry experience required Minimum of 5
years of leadership or supervisory experience required Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks Ability to provide direction Proven leadership skills in a high-performing culture Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills Ability to perform moderate physical duties, work outdoors and extended hours during peak seasons.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
