The McIntyre Center is looking for a Counselor for our Burton location to provide mental health counseling to clients in treatment for Substance Use Disorders.
The ideal candidate will possess strong independent skills while still seeking to be part of the family oriented team that makes the McIntyre Center a wonderful work environment.
Responsibilities Conduct Group and Individual Counseling Maintain client records in EHR software May assist in collection of urine screens May provide site supervision to peers or interns Participate in weekly staff meetings Participate in ongoing program development Other responsibilities as deemed necessary for the success of the program Requirements Must be Licensed by the state of Ohio to provide counseling services by the Counselor and Social Work Board, or other such state board.
Independent licensure preferred but not required.
Bachelor's degree in Counseling or Clinical Social Work, preferred Minimum 2 years experience in Mental Health counseling.
The ideal candidate also has experience in SUD counseling Minimum 2 years' sobriety for any candidates in recovery.
Must be available to work Tuesday-Saturday.
